K ika’s Treats is an artisanal company based in San Francisco, California which manufactures premium pure chocolate-covered confections, using an array of alternative sweeteners (no white sugar and no corn syrup in our treats!). Our commitment is to use only the finest quality locally-sourced ingredients to make the most delicious treats around. Kika’s Treats are 100% all-natural wholesome goodness without anything artificial. We don’t compromise and neither should you!
Cristina Arantes, a.k.a. Kika, was born and raised in Brazil, one of the tropical lands of cacao, where she spent her days baking and eating all things chocolate. In 1999 she moved to San Francisco and had the opportunity to work at a variety of wonderful restaurants and bakeries where she refined her skills with some of the finest chefs around. In 2006, she made a list of her favorite treats and decided that it was time to share them with the world.
When you buy a package of Kika’s Treats, not only are you treating yourself to something absolutely delicious, but you’re also supporting the American economy and helping to reduce carbon footprints, since Kika’s Treats always sources all of its packaging locally, with a focus on recyclabe and compostable materials. On top of that, Kika’s Treats gives back to the community, by in-kind donations to local non-profits and by donating 5% of net profits to La Cocina, a non-profit food business incubator in San Francisco that helps low income entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
